Dr. Kailey Boynton graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. in
pre-professional biology and a dual concentration in STEM Education. She then continued her
educational journey, earning a Doctorate of Optometry from the Kentucky College of Optometry in
Pikeville, Kentucky. While attending optometry school, she enjoyed leading the Fellowship of Christian
Optometrists student chapter and took part in two optometric mission trips to help meet the eyecare
needs of underserved populations in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
Dr. Boynton is a life-long resident of Pikeville, Tennessee alongside her husband, Austin where
they attend First Southern Baptist Church. She enjoys meeting and getting to know her patients. While
out of the office, Dr. Boynton loves spending time with her puppy Kona and spending time in the great
outdoors.
