Dr. Pendel received her Doctorate of Optometry in 2016 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During her time at UAB, she was recognized on the Dean’s List and was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.
Prior to joining the ECOTN team in 2019, Dr. Pendel worked as a traveling optometrist in Kentucky, where she provided eye care services ranging from pediatric to geriatric eye exams, post-operative care, ocular disease-specific eye exams, and more.
