Amy Cadis, M.D.
About
Dr. Cadis was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She obtained her B.S. in Biology from Houston Christian University (formerly Houston Baptist University). She received her medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center where she was awarded the Outstanding Student in Surgery at her campus. She completed her Ophthalmology training at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident. She has presented at the Women in Ophthalmology meeting and the Viers Ophthalmology Conference. She also has participated in medical mission trips to Haiti and Peru and has performed cataract surgery at the Mexican border in Eagle Pass, TX. She is passionate about providing excellent medical and surgical eye care to her patients. Dr. Cadis resides in Cookeville with her three children. In her free time, Dr. Cadis enjoys hiking, reading, and playing cards. Dr. Cadis is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology.
