Staff: We have five licensed opticians, one ABO certified optician and five optical assistants with a combination of over 75 years of experience. Our opticians are trained to help you find the perfect style, size and color of frames while keeping your best vision our top priority. We can take your picture, several if you like, to help you decide which frame gives you the look of success. If you would like to take the frame home for family and friends to see we can arrange that too. We understand the importance and investment of quality eyewear.
Laboratory: We have complete surfacing and finishing laboratory on site. Your glasses must pass 8 inspections before we let you leave with them. We make sure your glasses are top quality with both instrument and visual scrutiny. Because of this we ask you to allow us about a week to complete your order. However, we are capable of filling most prescriptions in the same day for emergencies. If you have special needs, please let us know.
Lenses: We use the most advanced lens designs and materials available. We can make your lenses thinner and lighter than ever before. All our lenses have a scratch resistant coating. We use the highest quality progressives and will make recommendations according to your visual needs and frame measurements.
Frames: We have over a 1,000 to choose from. We have an exquisite collection of crystal eyewear. We also have some fun and trendy collections by Lulu Guinness and Kate Spade. We have the beautiful collection from Vera Wang, the durable and lightweight frames from Charmant’s pure titanium and the timeless styles by Ralph Lauren and Coach. We have some frames that weigh less than .3 ounces. We have a large selection of budget frames, many with spring hinge temples. We have something for everyone.
Contact Lenses: Whether you want to eliminate your glasses without surgery or just change your eye color we can help. We successfully fit presbyopic (those requiring bifocals) and astigmatic patients routinely. New advances in materials allow some patients to wear contacts continuously for 30 days. Tinted contacts soon to be released will enhance contrast to help athletes during sports. We have successfully fit patients with iris defects for cosmetic purposes or when eye trauma has occurred. We also fit contacts for patients with keratoconus that have poor vision with eyeglasses. For your convenience we can ship your contacts directly to your door. If you have been told in the past you could not wear contacts perhaps it is time to check again.
Low Vision: Low vision examinations and consultations are available to help patients explore their options. We gladly train and educate patients on the different devices that help them stay independent. We have all types of magnifiers in stock including free-standing, hand-held, illuminated, and pocket. We have prismatic eyewear and special lamps to reduce distortion and increase contrast. We have a pocket video magnifier that fits in the palm of your hand. Today, there are more options than ever for those suffering from visual impairment.
